Holiday Magic Christmas Tree Lighting & Family Festival 6:00 p.m.2019-12-06T18:00:00North Richland Hills will celebrate the 2019 Christmas season with the Holiday Magic Christmas Tree Lighting & Family Festival on Friday, December 6, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the NRH Centre Plaza, Stormy Plaza and NRH Library along Hawk Avenue and Grand Avenue.
Visit Santa's Workshop in the Library to enjoy 14 holiday-themed crafts and activities (ages 3 and up). The cost to take part in the crafts is $3 per child. To be able to complete the crafts by 9 p.m., the line will close at 8:30 p.m. or earlier if tickets sell out. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Holiday TinkerCAD 5:30 p.m.2019-12-10T17:30:00Make Christmas extra merry this year with a homemade ornament! Join us in The Maker Spot on Tuesday, December 10 to create your own holiday ornament while learning the basics of 3D modeling in TinkerCAD, a free, easy-to-use app for 3D design. TinkerCAD is beginner-friendly, and a great introduction working in Autodesk modeling software. This is a free event, but registration is required.
Please read The Maker Usage Policy for more information. All attendees must complete a Maker Agreement before attending the class. Please arrive early to the class so that it can begin on time.
This class is open to those 10 years of age and older. Children ages 10-13 must have a parent attend class with them.
In this class you will learn:
- The basics of solid modeling with CAD
- Basic TinkerCAD commands
- How to create a custom 3D holiday Ornament that can eventually be 3d printed
