We had initially hoped to reopen the Library tomorrow, February 19; however, in light of the ongoing weather dangers and current utility circumstances in our community, the Library will remain closed tomorrow and Saturday, February 20. While we know this will come as a disappointment, we feel it is the most responsible course of action at this time. If you are still without power and need a place to get warm, please contact the city's Warming Center Hotline: 817-427-6001.
While our building will be closed, we are here to assist you online or over the phone. You can reach us at 817-427-6800, on social media, or by using our LiveChat service.
Our drive-thru book drops will be available for returns, and our curbside delivery service will resume. We are happy to deliver any items on hold for you to your car. Please know that we are not charging late fees for any overdue items at this time, so please do not travel to the Library if it is unsafe for you to do so!
Additionally, our digital collection is always available, with many items available for immediate download.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges. We hope that this weekend brings warmer weather and more comfortable circumstances for us all.
