Internet Service Resources

Many communication companies are offering to help families concerned about internet connectivity during this time. The following is a list of available options:  

North Richland Hills Library Wi-Fi

Laptop or mobile device users can connect directly to the internet via Wi-Fi from the Library’s parking lot. Guest Wi-Fi is not encrypted. If presented with multiple networks, please select the network named "NRH-Guest." To complete sign-in to the network, patrons will need to accept the City of North Richland Hills Guest Internet Access terms when it pops-up.


Internet Service Providers

AT&T
Offering open hotspots, unlimited data to existing companies, and $10/month plans to low-income families. 

Charter
Offering free internet for two months. 

Comcast
Offering free WiFi for two months to low-income families, plus all Xfinity hotspots are free to the public during this time. People can find hotspots and then select the “xfinitywifi” network.

Spectrum
Offering 60 days of free internet service to new customers. Students can enroll by calling 844-488-8395. For information on hotspots for students visit: https://www.spectrum.com/wifi-hotspots

Sprint
Providing unlimited data to existing customers and allowing all handsets to enable hotspots for 60 days at no extra charge.  

T-Mobile
Providing unlimited data to existing customers and allowing all handsets to enable hotspots for 60 days at no extra charge.  

Verizon
No special offers but following FCC agreements waiving late fees and not disconnecting existing service.
