Who Can Get an NRH Library Card?

Texas residents aged 18 or older are eligible for a North Richland Hills Library card. All you need is the following:

  • A valid photo ID (ex: driver's license, state ID, or passport)
  • Proof of your current address (ex: an insurance card, lease agreement, voter registration, or any current utility bill)

A Texas driver's license or Texas ID can serve as a photo ID and proof of your current address, provided the address on the ID matches your current address.

Your card will be issued onsite and available for immediate use. Please note that we cannot issue new cards online at this time.

If you are a North Richland Hills resident and cannot come to the library, please call us at 817-427-6800.

Children Under the Age of 18

Minors may have their own library card, but a parent or guardian must apply for it on their behalf and provide the necessary documents listed above.
