Library Elf will help you keep track of when your library materials are due!
Library ELF, a free Internet-based tool from an independent company, uses email and/or RSS feed reminders to notify you when your items are dure for return or requested titles are ready for pick-up. You can even track several cards from one account.
Receive free due date reminders when you want them; for example, you could get a notice a week before an item is due, then every day again until it's due View due dates in a a calendar format Be notified when reserves are available Get notices as cell phone text messages or via e-mail Consolidate information for all of the library cards in your family, or cards from different libraries
Important Privacy Notice
Library ELF is not affilitated with the North Richland Hills Public Library. Use of this service does not excuse participants from ibrary fines if materials are returned late. Cardholders use ELF at their own option and risk. Please read Library Elf's privacy policy and FAQs before deciding to sign up for the service.
*Note on RSS Feeds
If you receive your RSS feeds through a web-based aggregator such as Bloglines, Feedster, and Yahoo, your feeds might be viewable by the general public even if your account is marked "Private". This is due to the nature of web-based RSS feeds. This privacy issue does NOT exist for RSS aggregators which are installed on your own PC, only for web-based services.
Getting Started
To sign up, go the the Library ELF Web site and follow the instructions. From their home page, click Sign up and select the North Richland Hills Public Library from the list of libraries. Click Sign Up next to the library name and enter your name, e-mail address, library card number, etc. as specified. A PIN number is not required.
