    Come enjoy a family friendly movie with a side of free popcorn each week! Families are invited this week to the library as we screen Man of Steel (rated PG-13). Doors open at 1:45 p.m., movie begins at 2:00 p.m. Please call the Reference Desk at 817-427-6814 for more information.

  1. National Novel Writing Month Writing Clinics 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

    November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and in honor of this annual marathon writing event, your fellow writers will provide information, inspiration, tips and support to all aspiring novelists on the first four Saturdays in November at 11:00 a.m. in Polly's Room. Set your goal, race to finish 50,000 words of a novel in just 30 days and get expert advice along the way. Registration is not required.

    Come see what you can make yourself with a fun kids craft by The Home Depot! Kids ages 5-12 will learn do-it-yourself skills, tool safety and the craft is designed to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. Registration is required.
